I’m particularly interested in advancing ecosystem thinking in the following scenarios:
1. Ecosystem Architecture Functional Leadership
Working at Microsoft and Walmart gave me direct exposure to the challenges large organizations face when solving problems in isolated, fragmented ways. These siloed approaches make it difficult to tackle complex enterprise-enabled issues holistically. What’s needed is a bold, interconnected capability that drives strategic decision-making and systemic change.
Traditionally, organizations have relied on roles like Business or Technical Architects — each focused on distinct domains. Ecosystem Architecture is a more modern, integrated evolution of these disciplines. It provides a connected view that aligns network, organization, business, experience, technical, solution, and more — a critical need as we move toward Industry 5.0.
I’m particularly interested in piloting, institutionalizing, and scaling this valuable business function, enhancing organization agility and connectivity.
Ecosystem Architecture is replacing Enterprise Architecture.
